Niels is a passionate tech founder and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Ryte GmbH (B2B SaaS) and HolidayInsider AG with 4 exits. Today he serves as chairman or non-executive board director of later-stage tech start-ups, corporate spin-offs, and corporate innovation boards. He became a product expert as Google Product Partnership Manager EMEA and received his MBA at the age of 23. Niels has received many awards, including an OC Award from Google (for innovation at Google), "Finalist Entrepreneur of the Year" from Ernst & Young, and Top 3 finalists from "Deloitte Fast 50".
Why is Maun Science Park important?
I live innovations and love Africa. The deep connection to Africa came about through my family in South Africa. Innovations are the key to our future. The Maun Science Park in Botswana will be a groundbreaking project that will address the various challenges. I am happy to develop this project with the people of Botswana and the international community.
